The fruiting body is shaped like a branched shrub, with cylindrical branches, pale-flesh pink, without stem, but with a thick trunk, white at the base.

It grows on the ground, in coniferous woods.

The fruiting period takes place from August to October.
Dimensions: width of fruiting body approximately 11 cm (between 10 and 12 cm)
  total height approximately 13 cm (between 10 and 15 cm)

Distinctive features : branched; branches with straw-yellow tips, short and blunt (smooth spores)

Ramaria obtusissima is still unreported so far in the forest of Rambouillet, and is infrequent, more generally speaking .
