To proceed with the idenfication, first turn the mushroom upside down, take a look at the surface underneath the cap, and click below on the corresponding situation

mushrooms with gills or folds: the surface underneath the cap is composed of concentrical gills or folds (examples: Portobello mushrooms, Fly Agarics)			mushrooms with tubes or pores: the surface underneath the cap is composed of pores (examples: ceps, boletes)
mushrooms with spines: the surface underneath the cap is composed of spines (example: hedgehog fungus)			mushrooms with other characteristics: all other cases... (examples: morels, puffballs, coral fungi)
