The fertile surface is.

Dimensions: width of approximately 8 cm (between 3 and 12 cm)

Distinctive features : irregular potatoe-shaped, smooth or slghtly rough, ochre to yellowish brown, shallowly buried; white to yellow flesh, marbled, with white veins; strong aromatic odour, of dry morel or cooked corn

Choiromyces meandriformis is still unreported so far in the forest of Rambouillet, and is rare, more generally speaking .
