The fruiting period takes place from SeptemberSeptember to -January.
Dimensions: width of cap approximately 17 cm (between 4 and 40 cm)
  height of stem approximately 13 cm (between 3 and 25 cm)
  thickness of stem (at largest section) approximately 45 mm (between 20 and 110 mm)


Boletus persoonii is still unreported so far in the forest of Rambouillet, and is rare, more generally speaking .
