The fruiting body is shaped like a branched shrub, with cylindrical branches, dark yellow to orange.

The flesh is white;

The fertile surface is smooth.

It grows on the ground, in coniferous woods, in high altitude (Alps), on a rather calcareous soil.

The fruiting period takes place from July to October.
Dimensions: width of fruiting body approximately 8 cm (between 0 and 15 cm)
  total height approximately 15 cm (between 10 and 20 cm)

Distinctive features : branched, with reddish shades; lemon yellow in wounds and at the tips

Ramaria largentii is still unreported so far in the forest of Rambouillet, and is infrequent, more generally speaking .
