The cap is olive brown green, convex, slightly umbonate. The cap surface is smooth, viscid or sticky.

The stem is white, with a ring zone.

The flesh is white, unchanging; its taste is mild; the odour is faint; its texture is fibrous.

The gills are white, decurrent to adnate, distant (nb of gills per 90° ~ 14 ). The spore print is white. This species is mycorrhizal. It grows on the ground, on a rather calcareous soil.

The fruiting period takes place from September to November.

  height of stem approximately 9 cm (between 5 and 12 cm)
  thickness of stem (at largest section) approximately 12 mm (between 6 and 20 mm)
