The fruiting body is rabbit ear-shaped, erect and non symmetrical, with a vertically inrolled margin, with a lemon yellow internal surface, the external surface being of the same colour.

The fertile surface is smooth.

It grows on the ground, in coniferous or deciduous woods, in the mountains, on roadsides, with spruce, beech.

The fruiting period takes place from August to December.
Dimensions: width of fruiting body approximately 1.5 cm (between 1 and 2 cm)
  total height approximately 3 cm (between 1 and 5 cm)

Distinctive features : sorry, no English description yet

Otidea concinna is still unreported so far in the forest of Rambouillet, and is quite rare, more generally speaking .
