Lepiota boudieri Bres. |
The cap is reddish-brown to tawny-brown at the centre, disrupting concentrically towards the margin without forming distinct scales, on a ochre-yellow background, with a central umbo; its margin is with white veil remnants. The cap surface is smooth, not viscid nor sticky. The stem is with scales or bands under the ring, with a membranous ring. The flesh is unchanging; its taste is mild; the odour is pleasant; its texture is fibrous. The gills are adnate, crowded . The spore print is white. This species is saprophytic. It grows on the ground, in the woods, with hazel. The fruiting period takes place from July to November.
Distinctive features : cap covered with brown fibrils, not disrupting into clear scales Lepiota boudieri is still unreported so far in the forest of Rambouillet, and is infrequent, more generally speaking .
