The cap is green then yellow then orange, with a central umbo. The cap surface is smooth, viscid or sticky. The stem is greenish yellow, without ring. The flesh is white with green or yellow orange shades, unchanging; its taste is mild; the odour is not distinctive; its texture is fibrous. The gills are yellow, adnate, distant . The spore print is white. This species is saprophytic. It grows on the ground. The fruiting period takes place from July to December.
