The fruiting body is spherical, loosing the lower part of its external surface but keeping the upper part, then turning upside down, white then brown to brown-black.

The fertile surface is.

It grows on the ground, in dry lawns, dunes.

The fruiting period takes place from August to October.
Dimensions: width of fruiting body approximately 1.5 cm (between 1 and 2 cm)

Disciseda candida is still unreported so far in the forest of Rambouillet, and is quite rare, more generally speaking .
