The fruiting body is like a bird's nest containing eggs : trumpet, with a striate interior surface and a lid, containing lenticular balls, with silver-grey eggs on the internal surface, the external surface being tawny brown, hairy. The fertile surface is smooth. It grows on wood, on dead wood, twigs and other vegetal debris. The fruiting period takes place from March to December.
Distinctive features : sorry, no English description yet Cyathus striatus is infrequent and scattered in the forest of Rambouillet, and is occasional, more generally speaking . | ||
