The fruiting body is wide at the top, with a concave or flattened tip, and tapering towards base, white then yellowish.

The fertile surface is smooth.

It grows on wood, on leaves and dead wood of coniferous and broad-leaved trees.

The fruiting period takes place from October to December.
Dimensions: width of fruiting body approximately 0.6 cm (between 0.4 and 0.8 cm)
  total height approximately 2 cm (between 0.8 and 3 cm)

Distinctive features : sorry, no English description yet

Clavicorona taxophila is still unreported so far in the forest of Rambouillet, and is quite rare, more generally speaking .
