The fruiting body is cone-shaped to club-shaped, often compressed, yellow.

The fertile surface is smooth.

It grows on wood, on dead branches and stumps, on oaks.

The fruiting period takes place from September to December.
Dimensions:
  total height approximately 0.7 cm (between 0.3 and 1 cm)

Distinctive features : simple (not branching), gelatinous flesh

Calocera glossoides is still unreported so far in the forest of Rambouillet, and is infrequent, more generally speaking .
