The cap is convex-hemispherical then expanded, with a long stem.

The fertile surface is internal: the spores are released as dust when mature.

The fruiting period takes place from June to December.

  width of stem approximately 14 mm (between 10 and 25 mm)


Battarrea phalloides is still unreported so far in the forest of Rambouillet, and is rare, more generally speaking .
